Duolingo Log: week 4

Things are getting wierder in my Duolingo journey. Last week butterflies were writing books and this week, ants are making dinner, animals drink wine and the butterflies are continuing their burgeoning careers as authors.

The reviews of older lessons are useful and do help to reinforce the learning that I have done so far. In addition new cloze type exercises have appeared and seem to test more nuanced differences in possesive pronouns.
Still no pronunciation exercises and I’m wondering whether they feature in the app at all. I’ve been waiting for them with trepidation as the pronunciation of Portuguese is challenging. It will also take me back to my days in the Wall Street school in Mexico City; something I’d rather forget…
