The CELTA Diaries: day 7

I crawled out of bed this morning having spent a restless night of chills and fever, most likely contracted from my boy,  who had the same symptoms last week. When I arrived in work I was just in time to observe the first input session on Concept Checking Questions (CCQs). This seemed to stretch the CPs as it had a lot of embedded grammar within the session and some of them are completely new to tenses and usage.
The second session on pronunciation appeared to be more enjoyable for the CPs and they were able to remember the phonetic alphabet that I had taught them quite well. The advice from the tutor was comforting as this was an occasion where our teaching styles were very similar.
